Museum of Ethnography
In the immediate vicinity of the walls and Kyrenia Gate there is a Museum of Ethnography organised in the building of the monastery.

In the past walls surrounded the whole city and protected the people from invsions. The walls were built by the Venetians, in the XVIth century, and today only fragmentary remains left to be admired.
