The Museum of Cyprus
The most important museum on the island can take pride in the greatest collection of exhibits presenting the life on the island and its history. The exhibitions is organised chronologically and thematically. The descriptions of the exhibits stored in numerous rooms are put next to the entrance to the particular room and close to the specific showcase. The exhibition is so interesting that the inquisitive tourists should devote to it at least two hours. Those who are specially interested in archeology may feel a bit disappointed, but the museum has several more important exhibits. The Museum is located near the Tripoli Bastion and a charming park with a cafe in it.
