Bazaars
Girne Cadessi is one of 26 old bazaars which wre locted in Nicosia. Tourists may find here many interesting things – starting from fabrics and clothes and finishing with domestic appliances. Those who like searching for curiosities and souvenirs will treat the bazaar as a paradise with a lot of handicrafts, old things and food stalls. When you finish doing shopping (do not forget to haggle) you can go for a walk along the nearby streets full of little ironmonger’s and workshops of the local craftsmen. Near the bazaar there is the Ataturk Meydani square which is the life centre of the Turkish part of the city. When heading to Beledyie Pazari market where people sell old things, food and handicrafts, you can visit the Selimiye Camii mosque.
